Two Montana Work Parties over Father's Day Weekend

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Looking for a rewarding way to spend part of Father’s Day weekend? Help is needed at either of two Montana work parties, West Yellowstone and Ryan Field near West Glacier. Several chores need to be done to prepare for summer flying.  Fly or drive in, bring your work gloves and the RAF will provide Saturday lunch.  We will work hard but have fun as well. Let us know if you plan to help so we make sure to have enough food on hand. Please email info@theraf.org and let us know how many are in your group.

Work at West Yellowstone, (KWYS), takes place Saturday, June 15; RAF Montana Liaison Scott Newpower is heading up the task list. Contact him at snewpower@theraf.org.

Work at Ryan Field, (2MT1), is scheduled both Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and Father’s Day, June 16. We expect to finish the most important tasks Saturday. If you are willing to stay and help Sunday, it’s greatly appreciated! RAF Director Emeritus Chuck Jarecki will oversee the tasks. For more details, contact him at 406-883-2248. If you fly, be sure to request and obtain acknowledgement of the 2019 Ryan Field Safety briefing

Both events are subject to change due to weather. Check the RAF Event Calendar prior to planning your weekend.
